Marina Prior has become known as Australia’s leading lady of musical theatre.
Previous experience:
She commenced her career in The Pirates of Penzance after her first professional audition. She was subsequently invited to perform opposite Richard Harris in Camelot. Since then, she has performed lead roles in such shows as Cats, Les Miserables, Anything Goes, West Side Story, The Secret Garden, Showboat, Witches of Eastwick and her best known, The Phantom of the Opera.
In 1994, Marina undertook a highly acclaimed Australasian concert tour with international tenor, Jose Carreras. She has recorded three albums and gained many awards including the Advance Australia Award for her contribution to the performing arts.
