Profile
Larry Emdur is one of Australia’s most versatile TV hosts. Over the last 30 years he has hosted news, sports broadcasts, morning shows, afternoon shows, tonight shows, variety shows including Hey Hey it’s Saturday and Tonight Live, produced and presented documentaries and prime time specials.
Current work:
Larry is currently the co-host of channel 7’s The Morning Show, which has dominated it’s timeslot since it’s launch 10 years ago.
Previous experience:
He’s probably best known for hosting some of Australia’s most loved game shows including Wheel of Fortune and a record-breaking 1500 episodes of The Price is Right over three series across 20 years. During this time Larry also became the first non-American to host some of the iconic American version of The Price is Right.
In 2015 at 50 years old Larry was crowned Men’s Health Celebrity Man of the Year and became the magazine’s oldest ever cover guy. A title previously held by a 45-year-old Hugh Jackman.
In that year he also failed miserably on Dancing with the Stars, but he’d rather not talk about that.
He’s an engaging and entertaining MC and event host for a wide variety of events.

Larry Emdur was hired as our MC for the event we held. I cannot express enough in words how extremely professional, friendly, polite and down to earth this gentleman is. From the moment we met with him until when he left at the end of the evening, nothing, and I mean NOTHING, was a drama for this man. He was funny and entertaining the whole evening. He engaged our audience to a tea and he followed every instruction given on the night without question. I would highly recommend any event to engage Larry's services. Outstanding! Larry was entertaining, charming and kept moving the event along to our programmed timings. So many of the attendees commented that he was one of the top highlights of the gala dinner event. Your ability to make friends with the audience and take the time to understand them and the event was top-notch. Larry’s ability to inject his own unique humour and weave fabulous stories into the event script made the night so much more amusing and enjoyable for all who attended - because presenting 35 awards at one event can become a looooong and tedious night! A very hard task for any MC - but Larry managed it with great success! It was an absolute pleasure working with you prior to and during the event.
