Dr Ann-Maree Moodie FAICD FGIA FCIS is a corporate governance professional and qualified company secretary with 15 years’ experience advising Boards, CEOs and senior executive teams.

Dr Moodie has a depth and breadth of experience and expertise gained from Board assignments with ASX100 companies ranging from mining, fast-moving consumer goods, funds management, infrastructure, property, REIT, rail freight operations and banking.

Dr Moodie’s professional qualifications equip her particularly well for a thoughtful, methodically rigorous Board Review, and to deliver a report that conveys the findings and Recommendations with clarity and insight, so that the Board can act effectively on the results.

Dr Moodie was awarded her doctorate from Macquarie University for her research on “independence and conformity in Board decision-making”. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Journalism and Japanese) (RMIT), a Post-Graduate Certificate in Editing and Electronic Publishing (Macquarie University) and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance (Governance Institute of Australia). She is also a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course. She contributes to governance leadership in Australia as the Chairman of the Communications Committee of the Governance Institute of Australia and is a member of the Governance Institute’s Subject Advisory Committee for its flagship Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance.

Dr Moodie is also the Chairman of Life’s Little Treasures Foundation, a national charity which supports the parents and families of sick and premature babies. She joined the LLTF Board in August 2013 and was elected Chairman 12 months later.
