Claire Fabb is a stylist, digital editor and the founder of Style by Yellow Button, currently residing in Sydney.
Originally hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Claire was drawn to fashion from a very young age. Claire’s formative years were spent working in retail; a rite of passage and training ground for any accomplished stylist. As well as absorbing all she could about labels and consumer sentiment, Claire ran the day-to-day business and eventually turned her hand to buying for one of the city’s most renowned boutiques.
Current work
Upon completing a Bachelor Degree in Business, Claire moved to the corporate world to pursue a career in sales and marketing. It was not until after her two daughters were born that the pull of the fashion world became too great and so in 2009 Yellow Button was born.
Continuing to expand in the digital space, Claire’s most recent project is the Yellow Button e-boutique, an online store providing access to pre-loved and vintage designer clothes and accessories.
Claire’s style philosophy centres on the notion of ‘chic and simple’ with an appreciation for fine tailoring, quality pieces and just a hint of masculinity added to a look to give it a sophisticated edge.
Claire has also cemented partnerships with Net-A-Porter to develop luxury styling events called The Yellow Button Workshop series and acts as the fashion partner for exclusive member’s club, The Stables Sydney.
Previous experience
Styling: With just the right mix of innate creativity and savvy business acumen, Claire has become one of Australia’s most sought after stylists today. With an ever-expanding database of both male and female clients, Claire now employs a dedicated team of stylists who share her passion and style ethos and are able to keep up with the growing demand. Much of this demand is also fuelled by some of Australia’s leading corporate organisations for which Yellow Button offers personal styling for staff and bespoke workshops for executives. Claire herself is favoured by some of Australia’s most successful businessmen and women as well as names such as Ms. Zara Phillips.
Blog: Since the inception of Yellow Button, perhaps Claire’s biggest achievement has been her blog, Style by Yellow Button. More than just a fashion blog, Style by Yellow Button sets itself apart through its predominantly premium focus with curated images of international street style, interiors, top travel destinations and easy-to-execute ‘How-To’ guides that have become essential viewing for any fashionista.

From the minute I met Claire Fabb I knew she would be an amazing ambassador for the HUGO BOSS brand. She presents herself in a stylish and charismatic way but holds an incredible laid back charm that appeals to all. She is approachable, confident, charming and of course stylish - all of this whilst being a stand driven professional across all elements of her business. Our first engagement with Claire was for her to host our event for the launch of the Jason Wu collection for BOSS Womenswear. It won't be that last time we engage her services. HUGO BOSS are excited to continue to work with Claire.
Claire's presentation was all about giving back to our staff. A way to make them feel good about themselves and also give them some inside information about current fashion trends , styles, colours and shapes that suit them and also how to put a whole look together. Claire then ended with a presentation about how to wear what was a very tired old uniform to its best potential. She also touched on all the feedback we had gathered from our staff and how we were going to incorporate a unique Australian Iconic Fashion Designer duo to design the new uniform. We had a fantastic response from all our staff at these sessions thanks to Claire. Claire was captivating, engaging and down to earth. Exactly what our brand stands for and we absolutely loved having her on the St.George team for five months. I would highly recommend Claire as a presenter and speaker in any type of role within the fashion industry. I also believe she is an extremely confident and powerful woman who would add a lot of impact in any forum for women in business.
