Richard is a brand and communication specialist who believes that brand is a management issue, not a marketing concept, and everything can and must be branded; your culture, your people, your strategy, your communications, and your self.

During his advertising career, he was strategic thinker and brand planner for some of the world's most iconic brands, including Cola-Cola, Microsoft, Vodafone, and Nestle.

In 2003, he set up his own brand consultancy "” The Brand Guy "” helping people and organisations such as CSIRO, Talent2, and PricewaterhouseCoopers to define their brand and achieve their full potential.

In 2008 Richard wrote and published Wake Up Tiger, a wake up call for people who are dissatisfied with their lives, even in the face of their "˜success'.

In 2010 Richard was awarded the title of "˜biggest thinker' by a room full of more than 300 communication and industry peers, against a line up of 15 other speakers.

In 2011 Richard joined forces with STW, Australia's largest communication group, to establish SHIFT - a strategic communications company that uses brand to empower people and organisations to create the world they want to succeed in.

Richard delivers presentations and workshop experiences in the areas of branding, customer service, brand you, leadership, breakthrough performance, creativity, and employee engagement.
