Rachel Berger is widely acknowledged as one of Australia's finest stand up comedians. Her material is political, psychological and socially conscious. Encompassing contemporary lifestyles, Rachel Berger offers a hilarious and poignant expose of human foibles.
Rachel's dynamic presence and sharp observations have made her a popular performer both live and on TV across Australia. She has performed four times at the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Festival, and whilst in Britain, made many TV appearances and performed extensively on the London comedy circuit.
Rachel has written and performed shows including Hold The Pickle - a one woman show, Miss (you) Melbourne - an evening of comedy from some of Australia's best-known female comedians and Loose Cannon - a one woman show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
On radio, Rachel Berger has presented the Breakfast Show on ABC Radio Melbourne 774, Austereo Perth, Mix 94.5 and been a regular guest on The Conversation Hour with Jon Faine, ABC Radio 774.
Rachel's numerous television credits include the Rove-Live, The Glass House, Good Morning Australia with Bert Newton, Good News Week, World Series Debating. Tonite Live, The Big Gig, The Midday Show, Hey Hey It's Saturday and Denton.
With her unique ability to connect with an audience, Rachel Berger is also a superb corporate speaker and MC. Amongst many other significant events, she was MC at the 2009 Victoria University Achievement Scholarships Launch, a Guest Speaker at the Superheroes and Sclemiels exhibition at Jewish Museum (2009) and MC for Domestic Violence Victoria's Inaugural Eliminating Family Violence Media Awards.
