Max Walsh

Biography

Max Walsh is a journalist author and broadcaster. Currently he is Editor-at-Large for The Bulletin magazine. He writes as he has done for more than 40 years now on the interaction between the worlds of politics, economics and business.

During that career Max has operated in all spheres of the media. He was for seven years editor of the Australian Financial review before helping launch Nine Network's Sunday program. For some years he was co-presenter of the Carleton-Walsh Report on the ABC and a columnist with the Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourne Age. In 1998 he became editor-in-chief of The Bulletin. In 1983 he was made a member of the Order of Australia for his services to journalism.
