Biography

Dr Jodie Lowinger is passionate about helping the world to conquer fear and anxiety and build mental strength, wellbeing and success.  She is an award-winning Doctor of Clinical Psychology, anxiety thought leader and High-Performance and Mindset Coach to some of Australia’s top business leaders, teams and organisations. 

She is a successful entrepreneur as the Founder/CEO of two businesses: Mind Strength Consulting, where she works with individuals, organisations and schools to build peak performance, mental health, resilience and wellbeing; and the Sydney Anxiety Clinic, a preeminent anxiety treatment clinic for adults, children and adolescents. 

Through her work helping thousands of people to reduce anxiety and build mind strength, Jodie has created the Mind Strength Peak Performance and Resilience Framework: a four-step evidence-based program to optimise  productivity, performance, mental health and wellbeing.

Jodie presents transformational keynotes on smashing anxiety and fear, building resilience, mastering high performance leadership, building emotional intelligence and a growth mindset. She helps companies drive a leading-edge organisational culture, cyber safety and managing digital distraction amongst many others. Jodie connects deeply with her audiences through her revolutionary strategies and desire to help people overcome anxiety globally. Her talks have a high return on investment through building motivation, engagement, cohesion, wellbeing, mental health, productivity and performance. She connects with diverse audiences including global business leaders, corporates, business forums, community groups and schools. She has helped thousands of individuals with highly effective strategies to optimise mental health, performance and wellbeing. Jodie has worked across diverse industries including banking and finance, consumer goods, real estate, health, automotive and manufacturing, education, government, IT, mining and retail. 

Jodie has a uniquely differentiated skillset spanning banking, change management, clinical psychology, neuroscience and business. </b> She has had a successful career in people, culture and strategy at Macquarie Bank, has worked in change management and leadership development at global consulting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and has developed her passion as a staunch business woman and entrepreneur with the establishment of her two 

Jodie is a sought after media commentator and has worked with national TV broadcasters and national syndicated radio, digital and print, including Channel 7 Sunrise, Channel 9 Today Show, 2GB Radio, Marie Claire Magazine, Mamamia Media Network and many others. She is a contributor to Ariana Huffington’s Good Sleep Guide, is on Advisory Boards and speaks on expert panels to promote workplace and school mental health. Jodie is also an Ambassador for Street Work, a not for profit organisation mentoring at risk and homeless youth with the aim of turning young lives around.

Jodie’s clinical training includes a Bachelor of Psychology (UNSW) where she was awarded the University Medal, a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (University of Sydney) and Master of Science, where she conducted post graduate research in anxiety. Jodie has worked at Harvard Medical School, Boston Children’s Hospital and many other hospital and community settings.
