Sydney FC player Ally Green was raised in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and developed as a player with Manly United FC where she won two championships and enjoyed a stint at Football NSW Institute for two seasons as a teenager.

Current Work:

Ally’s pathway into elite football wasn’t traditional and she places great value in the relationships and life she has built outside of her sport, acknowledging its role within her athlete identity.
Ally understands the importance of developing her skills and identity beyond her sport, as well as regularly volunteering at a community-run food bank, she has recently completed a Diploma of Interior Design following her interest in this field.

Ally plays a pivotal role at an advocacy level, representing the Professional Footballers Association (PFA)as a delegate, sitting as a member of the Women’s Football Council, and representative in current player CBA negotiations. This places Ally in a position to speak with experience on the ongoing fight for equality in sport and challenges at both a professional and wider community level.
With attention and focus on teamwork and leadership, Ally has achieved a high level of success within her sport, including national representation and reaching three consecutive Grand Finals, and winning the2018/19 Championship with Sydney FC.
